The second movie in the To All the Boys franchise is charming and adorable—but P.S. I preferred the first one.

It has been two years since To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before created buzz on Netflix—I’m happy to report that its sequel (available to stream on Wednesday, February 12), To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020, directed by Michael Fimognari) is as charming as the first one. Based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Han, P.S. I Still Love You picks up from where the first movie left off and takes audiences through a bump into Lara Jean Song Covey’s (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky’s (Noah Centineo) romantic relationship.

This post for The Perfect Date contains spoilers, but TBH spoilers don’t really mean anything for rom-coms.

The Perfect Date (2019, directed by Chris Nelson), originally called The Stand-In, is based on the novel of the same name (referring to latter title) by Steve Bloom. It is the third teenage rom-com movie from Netflix that features matinée idol Noah Centineo. It follows the character Brooks Rattigan (Centineo) who is trying to save up money to go to Yale University; with the help of his coding genius best friend Murph (Odiseas Georgiadis), Brooks starts to get hired by women of all ages through the app (The Stand-In) to be a stand-in date for them—and no, he’s not prostituting himself.

This post for Sierra Burgess Is a Loser is spoiler-free.

Just three weeks ago, Netflix gave us the hit teen rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and the existence of the beloved fictional character Peter Kavinsky—played by Noah Centineo. Today, we are graced by Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018, directed by Ian Samuels) with Centineo starring in the movie as Jamey—Sierra’s (Shannon Purser) love interest. Don’t get me wrong, I love Centineo and his charming self; but this teen movie isn’t about him—it’s about Purser’s Sierra.

Movie Review: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 💌

Kombuchas, selfies, and social media is what separates this modern-day teen movie from the ones made in the 80s.

This post for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before contains spoilers.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018, directed by Susan Johnson) is essentially a movie about a high school teen who is figuring out what it’s like to be in a relationship with a boy for the first time. The movie is based on the best-selling YA novel of the same name by Jenny Han, and follows the story of 16-year-old high school teen Lara Jean (Lana Condor) who wrote 5 love letters to 5 boys and one day discovers that they have all been mailed out.
