After a relatively quiet Season 1 buzz and successful Season 2 (thanks to Netflix), YOU Season 3 (2021, developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti, based on the books by author Caroline Kepnes) returns almost two years later with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) settling down into a fictional suburban hellhole known as Madre Linda. They now have a 6-month old baby named Henry Forty Quinn-Goldberg and are trying to keep their marriage alive, while fitting into a new community.

Shockingly, The Kissing Booth 2 (2020, written and directed by Vince Marcello, based on the Wattpad turned best-selling novel by Beth Reekles) is a much better movie than its predecessor from 2018. Centring on the challenges of a long-distance relationship, The Kissing Booth 2 shows Elle (Joey King) struggling with finding a balance between her friendship with Lee (Joel Courtney), her relationship with Noah (Jacob Elordi) and making a decision for her future.

Cursed is an underwhelming television series that fails to live up to expectations.

For a series that was overhyped, Cursed (Season 1, created by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler), which is based on the book of the same name, was extremely disappointing. With ten episodes in total, the series is a reimagination of an Arthurian legend that follows the story of Nimue (Katherine Langford), a Fey kind “witch”, who is on a quest to fulfil her mother’s dying wish of delivering a mystical ancient sword to a legendary wizard named Merlin (Gustaf Skarsgård).
